Well I’m Tony Chin. This is my blog.

I’m a tattoo artist working and living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’ve been tattooing for twelve years, I do big vivid colorful nature landscapes.

This blog, however, is not about my work as a tattooer. This is an outlet for my second passion: writing short stories. I have found in tattooing, that many people get their tattoo as an allusion to something meaningful in their lives. Having the tattoo is a reminder of the story. It is also, whether they want it or not, a prompt for people to see and ask you your stories.

My first question is “Are you ready to tell the story of this tattoo for the rest of your life?” followed by “Do you mind if I have a go at telling it?”
